A message from Nick Tanner: Hear Ye, Hear Ye: Cherry Street's Barrel Society First Beers Release Announcement! The first release will be on August 12th, with not just 1, but 2 beers! The #1 and #2 release will be Unknown Impact #2 Barleywine (which just took Bronze at the US Open Beer Championship) and Time is Free, a 44-month-aged Pastry Barleywine with Coconut and Pistachio as a collaboration with Eighth State Brewing from Greenville, SC. We will also be releasing 2 other versions of Time is Free on August 12th, with presale beginning on 8/8, both a regular version and toasted coconut. Of course, the Pistachio will not be available to the public.

The #3 release is Damebier (which just took Gold at the US Open Beer Championship) that has been aged in an EH Taylor Bonded Barrel. The tasting notes are straight raisinettes. We will be releasing another bourbon and a peach brandy version of this at the same time, but the EH Taylor takes the cake by far, definitely the pick of the litter out of 6 different Dame barrels that are ready. We are looking at creating the world's very first Damebier Day at the end of August for this release.

We have gone as far to pick our #4-7 beers as well, but do not have 100% exact specifics as it depends on how they age. I don't want to get too ahead as it really is up to the beer when it is ready.
#4. Sweet Leilani Stout variation
#5. Fat Kid's Birthday Peanut Butter Stout
#6. Quad
#7. 2 Different 12.12.12 variations

What is our Barrel Society?
For 2022, in celebrating our 10th Year Anniversary this December, we created a very limited, private membership for those that love our barrel aged beers. The beers released in the Society will not be bottled for regular public sale. While you may find these beers on tap, they will not be available to go. We are hand selecting the best of the best and taking the classics, the ones you know and love, to a different level. This membership includes 18 bottles (500mL/16.9 fl oz) total, 6 of which will be single bottle releases and 6 of which will be double bottle releases. You will also receive a badass t-shirt and 2 tasting glasses. This membership is for 1 year and includes all the above for $425 annually. If you are a Mug Club Member, you get a discount of $50, which makes the signup $375 annually. It never hurts to join the Mug Club (at $150) to get a discount on the Barrel Society and have access to all of the Mug Club Perks, like private 12.12.12 10th Anniversary Celebration Events. What happens if you want to sign up for the Barrel Society and we have already started releasing beers? Well, don't worry. We are going to hold on to the allotment of bottles for the limited 75 spots. So, if you sign up in December, and we still have open spots, you will get all the releases up to that point as well. I don't think we will have open spots left in December, but if we do, you will receive all the bottles thus far. We are very excited to create this program to give back to some of our truly die hard fans and friends. Thank you to you for making this all happen, really!Cherry Street Brewing has undergone many changes over the last year. With our new Brewpub and Production Facility in Chattanooga, TN up and running now, we are changing the focus at our Vickery Village location to handle more Barrel Aged Beers. This includes creating the Barrel Society Membership, but also increases our collaborations with fine retailers, fellow brewers, and friends. Obviously since we just won 5 awards from our barrel aging program at the 2022 US Open Beer Championship, we are excited to expand and increase this liquid to yall. You will begin to see an expanded Barrel Aged tap list in the Taproom featuring old, vintage cellar dweller kegs, classics, and freshies. Cheers and thank you for 10 amazing years!
